Victorian silver mounted glass and leather hip flask by James Dixon, Sheffield 1895, 13cm
One corner of the silver cup has some noticeable dents, there is one dent near the bottom of the other corner, and a dent in the centre hallmarked side. The silver generally has a patina of wear and scratches, with some noticeable longer and deeper scratches. Fits the glass snugly, does not fall off, needs to be wiggled off. Leather appears generally in good condition, one hole at the side seam. There is what appears to be cleaning residue around the edge of the collar. There is one shallow dent in the lid.
Hallmarks are clear. Interior does not obviously have any gilt. Cap appears to function correctly.
