Pair of Japanese earthenware vases typically decorated with birds and chrysanthemums, each with eight character marks to the base, (2) 30.5cm
Vase one has crazing, some discolouration along the crazing and some greyish patches. There is a tiny chip out the base, and some lines that could be hairline cracks around the base.
Vase two has a crack with some tiny chips at the base, some slight yellowish patches of discolouration.
Both have significant wear to the gilt around the rim.
