An early Victorian silver desk inkstand, Robinson, Edkins & Aston, Birmingham 1840, 22cm long
The glass ink bottles have general nibbles out the glass edges, and one more noticeable chip at the bottom edge of one bottle. One of the lids is rather wobbly. The central pen holder is distorted all around the bottom rim. The stand has a small amount of wobble on a flat surface.
