19th century ormolu caddy, likely French, with a pattern of classical figures within a laurel leaf border, the hinged lid opening to reveal a velvet lined interior with two divisions, 14 x 17cm.
Some wear to the gilt commensurate with age. There is some warping of the lid, and the box does wobble side to side on a flat surface. It looks like the hinges have been repaired. The velvet interior is worn.
