19th century French blue silk paisley shawl, finely woven with boteh border with a half section blue field and half csection ivory field, 350 x 165cm.
The blue is darker where it meets the border. There is a line of fading within the blue side of the boteh border, as though a folded edge has been exposed to the sun. There are some pulls. The white section has some brown marks and spotting. No obvious holes, tears, signs of moth or repairs.
